7/8 yards of jersey knit, terry, or sweatshirt fleece. Some stretch is needed.
Optional: 1/4" yard of ribbing for the waistband, wrist cuff, and neck binding.—Note: The fabric needs to have a slight stretch for the neck opening to go over the child's head.
