The pattern can be used on either woven or knit fabric and used with backing in water-resistant fabric, like PUL, or absorbent material, like terry cloth. You can even use an old shirt to make the bib. No serger required.

The instructions include a sizing guide, but you won't need to do any measuring as the pattern is one size only, fitting approx. 6mo-4yrs.
