1 3/8 yards of medium-weight knit fabric (wash before use), at least 38" wide. One (1) zipper (16 to 32" long, zipper length chart provided). Optional: up to 7.5 inches of 1/4" wide elastic for the heel.—Zippers over 22" can be trickier to find. Try the upholstery department at your fabric store).Wash-away tape or a washable glue stick is recommended for easier zipper application.
